Marquette will add former UConn assistant Dwayne Killings to its staff, per an announcement from Marquette Athletics. He will fill the assistant coaching job left vacant by Chris Carrawell’s departure to Duke.
“He is a great addition who will add tremendous value to our players, staff and program as a whole,” Marquette head coach Steve Wojciechowski. “This is an exciting time for our program.”
Killings has been at Connecticut since July 2016. While in Storrs, the Huskies went 30-35 and missed the NCAA Tournament both years.
The Amherst, Massachusetts, native has previously held coaching positions at Temple and Boston University.
