Five-goal second quarter boosts team over Robert Morris
Marquette rode an explosive second quarter to its 4th victory, defeating Robert Morris 13-5.
Conor Gately led the team with three goals and two assists. Ryan McNamara scored two goals and two assists and Joe Dunn and Tanner Thompson each scored two.
Marquette played its first game without Kyle Whitlow, who will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury. Head coach Joe Amplo said he sees Thompson and Andy DeMichiei, who scored a goal, as two of the players that need to step up offensively to replace him.
