Following an incredibly unnecessary and misleading tease on Twitter, Marquette men’s lacrosse announced their 2019 schedule on Wednesday afternoon.
It’s mostly exactly what you’d expect for Marquette lacrosse here in year seven of the program: Five Big East games, with three of them on the road, and eight familiar names on the non-conference slate, including Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Duke. In fact, the only new name on the regular season schedule is Cleveland State. 2017 was the Vikings’ first season in Division 1, and given their relative distance to Milwaukee, it just makes sense that they make the trip west in early March.
