Marquette dropped a news bomb on us on Wednesday when they announced the 2018 men’s lacrosse schedule outta nowhere. According to the fine and upstanding folks at College Crosse, it’s the first schedule to be released. That’s pretty neat!
It’s a pretty standard set of opponents for the Golden Eagles if you’ve been following the team for the past few years. Marquette has played all of their non-conference foes at least twice before with the exception of Michigan, which will be the first meeting between the two teams. I’ve long thought that MU should play the Wolverines as a regular season contest and not just exhibitions that they’ve had the past few years.
