Marquette men’s basketball played just one game while ranked at #10 in the country in the Associated Press poll last week. That was the 76-58 demolition of Butler down in Indianapolis. That was also good enough for the AP voters to collectively keep the Golden Eagles at #10 in the newest poll that came out on Monday.
The Golden Eagles picked up 1,029 votes this week, just a bit up from 973 points last week. Michigan State slots in at #9 this week with 1,051 points, while Virginia Tech came in at #11 with 948 points.
