Last season Marquette guard Duane Wilson came off the bench for the first three games before he was moved into the starting lineup for the final 29. He had a strong freshman season, scoring 11.9 points per game and earning a place on the all-Big East rookie team.
This season has been a mirror image thus far for Wilson, a redshirt sophomore who entered as the Golden Eagles' top returning scorer. He started each of the first three games — putting him at 32 consecutive starts — but then head coach Steve Wojciechowski moved him out of the starting lineup for Marquette's game against LSU.
