So when neither of them did finish with the low score not on one of the five advancing teams at the NCAA Bryan Regional back on May 16th, it doesn’t represent any kind of failure or whatever you want to call it. As it turns out, Ole Miss’ Hunter Thornberry is the defending NCAA individual champion, and he threw together an eight-under par performance to finish fourth overall and lock up the individual player position at the NCAA finals.
