On Sunday morning, the Big East announced the 2015-16 men's basketball all-conference teams. Henry Ellenson was named to the All-Big East First Team, as well as being a unanimous selection for the Big East's All-Freshman team. Ellenson was joined on the All-Freshman team by teammate Haanif Cheatham, who might be having the least recognized amazing freshman campaign in Marquette history.
Ellenson is the first freshman to make the All-Big East First Team since Carmelo Anthony in 2003. He finished the regular season ranked third in the Big East in scoring and he leads the conference in rebounding at just a shade under 10 per game.
