Memphis Grizzlies 73, Detroit Pistons 70 — Four Grizzlies scored in double digits as Memphis held off Detroit on Saturday night. The Grizzlies led by as many as nine late in the third quarter and early in the fourth, but the Pistons trimmed the lead late to keep it interesting. Detroit ended up with two chances to tie in the final 30 seconds of the game, but nothing came of it and they ended up falling to 0-2 in rapid fashion in Las Vegas.
Wayne Selden was the game’s high scorer, tossing in 20 points even though he missed all five of his long range attempts.
