New Orleans Pelicans 90, Toronto Raptors 77 — In the first game of Las Vegas Summer League that we turned our attention to, New Orleans ended things quickly. A 27-12 margin in the second quarter ballooned their lead from five points after one quarter to 20 points at halftime. That was pretty much that for the competitive portion of the game, with the Pelicans brushing the lead out to 25 for a few moments in the fourth.
Familiar name Trevon Bluiett was the top scorer for New Orleans, tossing in seven of his ten attempts and six of eight from long range for a game-high 24 points.
