The brand new “Cup Series” kits didn’t have magic in them.
The Milwaukee Panthers scored twice in the first half of a foul-laden game on Tuesday night to win by a final of 2-0 over Marquette. With the win, UWM regains control of the Milwaukee Cup for the first time since 2013 and prevents MU from establishing their longest possession of the Cup in the 45 year history of the rivalry. Also, Marquette falls to 1-6-1 on the season, which is also not great.
The first goal came in the 18th minute on a perfectly slid ball from Nick Moon.
