Baseline: McLaughlin, Marotta spearhead Marquette’s efforts to win

Marquette women’s basketball came up with another big win its second game of the season defeating the New Jersey Institute of Technology Highlanders by a score of 91-57 Friday night at the Al McGuire Center.

Here is a breakdown of the win:

Game MVP: Chloe Marotta

Redshirt junior forward Chloe Marotta finished near of a triple double finishing the night with 11 points, eight rebounds and a career-high eight assists. Marotta had an efficient night from the field going 1-for-2 from beyond the arc and 5-for-8 from the field overall.

“Really thrilled with Chloe Marotta’s performance, almost had a triple-double,” Marquette head coach Megan Duffy said.
