It wasn’t a terrible surprise that the 2018 NBA Draft came and went without Andrew Rowsey being selected. Sure, he’s an electrifying offensive talent, but that doesn’t quite balance out his defensive liabilities merely due to his sub-six-foot height. You have to be defensively versatile to pick up a draft spot these days. It is what it is.
Rowsey was picking up a few pre-draft workouts, though, which is why it brings a smile to my face to read a report from Ben Steele of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that Rowsey will play for the Toronto Raptors in the 2018 NBA Summer League.
