The first images have emerged of the statue which will be erected in Stockholm in honour of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with the man himself checking up on proceedings.
The Swedish FA announced on Monday that a 2.7 metre monument will be erected outside the Friends Arena in Sweden's capital city after the Manchester United striker was named the country's best footballer for the tenth straight year.
And a Sweden Arabic Twitter account (@Sweden_AR) has teased Ibrahimovic's avid followers with the first images of the statue, including a picture of the man himself checking it out.
Ibrahimovic has now won the Golden Ball a record 11 times - since its inception in 1946 no other player has won the award more than twice.
