Gary Neville wants football to use its vast wealth to help the country cope with the coronavirus crisis.
The former England defender is giving free accommodation to NHS staff at the two hotels he owns with members of Manchester United’s Class of ’92.
And now he is urging the football authorities to come together and set an example to the rest of the country.
‘I am hoping the League Managers Association, PFA, FA, Premier League and EFL are behind the scenes coming up with something,’ Neville told Sportsmail.
