Wrexham's star forward Paul Mullin has given the League Two club a scare during its preseason match against a wildly inexperienced Manchester United -- departing for hospital.
The ESPN broadcast between the two UK clubs revealed the goal scorer was going to be officially checked out at a San Diego hospital after the brutal collision with United keeper Nathan Bishop.
Both were attempting to reach the ball first at the edge of the penalty area before Bishop bumped into Mullin's kidney region.
The 28-year-old rolled in agony before Wrexham medics came to his aid.
