Real Sociedad striker Willian Jose has slammed his club for supposedly standing in his way of joining Manchester United last season.
The 29-year-old has made the claim that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were keen to take him on a year ago as they looked to address their striker shortage, with Odion Ighalo moving on.
United eventually brought in Edinson Cavani as a free agent in a move which has been hugely successful, but Willian Jose insists it could have been him if Sociedad had not blocked the switch.
'I think they have not treated me well,' Willian Jose told Spanish publication Noticias de Gipuzkoa.
