West Ham burst Erik ten Hag's bubble as the under pressure manager issues rallying call to his Man United players to 'stick together and believe in themselves' after suffering 13th defeat of the season

Erik ten Hag cut a forlorn figure on Saturday after his Manchester United team had lost for the 13th time this season — and urged his players to stick together for the battles that lie ahead.

Defeat at West Ham means the under-fire Dutchman has overseen the club’s worst start since 1930.

‘We have players who can do it,’ he said, after goals by Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus secured victory for the Hammers to lift them above United in the Premier League table.

‘They’ve proved in the past they can do it,’ added Ten Hag.
