West Brom 0-2 Manchester United: Zlatan Ibrahimovic hits brace to boost Red Devils' top four hopes

Manchester United moved within three points of the top four after beating West Brom at The Hawthorns on Saturday evening.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice for the Red Devils to seal a third consecutive win for Jose Mourinho’s side, but the Swede was extremely fortunate to avoid a straight red card for an elbow on Craig Dawson in the first half.

The result leaves United within three points of fourth placed Manchester City ahead of their clash with Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

The visitors took the lead with less than five minutes played, after Ibrahimovic emphatically headed home Jesse Lingard’s cross.
