The irony is not lost on Eric Dier that Wembley has switched from being Tottenham's house of horrors into something of a fortress.
The interesting question, though, is whether they will have an unfair advantage in the FA Cup, given the semi-finals and final will take place at the national stadium, where Spurs have played all their home games this season.
Crucially, there will be an even split of supporters for the cup games, but in the same way that the team were once hindered by their lack of familiarity in new surroundings, they will now have the benefit of feeling right at home at a ground where they have won 11 of their past 13 games in all competitions.
