Following late headers from Turner and Alessia Russo, Marc Skinner’s side took away the three points in front of more than 40,000 supporters.
After the match, Toone and Turner said they were “buzzing,” and praised the manner of the Reds’ victory.
“You could see at the end what it means to us all,” Toone said to MUTV.
“The fact that we came back from being down, it just shows the attitude that we have in the squad- a never die attitude.”
United had led in the first half, thanks to Toone’s opener, but looked to be heading for defeat late on in the fixture, after second-half goals from Frida Maanum and Laura Wienroither put the Gunners ahead.
