'We have to do more, starting with me': Steve Cooper remains under pressure at Nottingham Forest after Manchester United defeat took winless streak to 10 games... as the boss admits 'we have to turn the performances into results'

Steve Cooper remains under pressure as Nottingham Forest boss after a tepid display against Manchester United extended their winless run to 10 matches.

Forest did not have a shot on target and there were some boos at full-time – a slight shift in mood for a fanbase who have been fully behind their team for virtually the whole season. In a statement last week, owner Evangelos Marinakis called for an immediate improvement in results and performances and since then, Forest have lost twice without scoring.

Cooper’s men are in the bottom three only on goal difference but the club are believed to have sounded out other managers – even though there is little time to make a significant impact on a team whose confidence is draining away.
