Steve Cooper remains under pressure as Nottingham Forest boss after a tepid display against Manchester United extended their winless run to 10 matches.
Forest did not have a shot on target and there were some boos at full-time – a slight shift in mood for a fanbase who have been fully behind their team for virtually the whole season. In a statement last week, owner Evangelos Marinakis called for an immediate improvement in results and performances and since then, Forest have lost twice without scoring.
Cooper’s men are in the bottom three only on goal difference but the club are believed to have sounded out other managers – even though there is little time to make a significant impact on a team whose confidence is draining away.
