'We could have scored MORE': Pep Guardiola insists Manchester City could have been even better in front of goal despite netting SIX goals past Manchester United at the Etihad

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola insisted there was still room for improvement after his side thrashed rivals Manchester United 6-3 on Sunday.

Erling Haaland and Phil Foden both scored hat-tricks to cap off a scintillating attacking display from the reigning champions, but Guardiola still felt his team had more to offer in the latter stages.

The victory climbed the reigning champions a point behind league leaders Arsenal in second, while Manchester United stayed rooted in sixth.
