Manchester United fans have called on manager Erik ten Hag to give Zidane Iqbal a chance in the first team after a superb showing on the international stage.
Iqbal, 19, played 90 minutes as his Iraq side lost 2-0 against Russia on Sunday in a friendly at the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg.
It was only the teenager's third cap for his country but he displayed a maturity beyond his years, impressing with an all-action performance.
He has only made one senior appearance for United, as an 89th-minute subsitute in a Champions League dead-rubber tie against Swiss side Young Boys in December 2021.
