Wayne Rooney can't complain about being dropped against Leicester City. He has fantastic experience and is great around the dressing-room but is that enough on its own to get in the Manchester United team? No.
On current form, he doesn't create enough chances or score enough goals. He's like a boxer whose head thinks he's still at the top of his game, but the body tells you otherwise.
However, that doesn't mean his career is over, even at Old Trafford. He still has a lot to offer United this season provided he accepts it won't be in every game.
