Wayne Rooney has risked the wrath of Plymouth Argyle fans already by mocking the Devon accent.

The Manchester United and England legend was named Plymouth's new manager on Saturday, four months after being sacked by Birmingham City following a disastrous three-month spell at the Midlands club.

But he may have some work to do to get the locals on side when he moves to the county in the South-West of England after slamming the Devon accent.

While playing a game of EA Sports FC Pro Clubs with YouTubers Angry Ginge and Pieface, Rooney couldn't resist taking a dig at the latter, who happens to be a Plymouth fan.
