UNITED 4 CITY 3 (2009/10)
The return to Old Trafford for Carlos Tevez, this time wearing a blue shirt, added spice to what was an already hotly contested fixture. However, it was the Argentinian’s former strike partner Wayne Rooney who fired home first, slotting in after two minutes. Tevez then played a major part in City’s leveller, dispossessing Ben Foster to allow Gareth Barry a simple tap-in, before later hitting a post. Darren Fletcher rose above his marker on 49 minutes to nod home, but again United’s lead was short-lived – Craig Bellamy unleashing a rocket from distance to draw our neighbours level.
