Manchester United's Reserves moved up to sixth in the Premier League 2 table after beating Arsenal 1-0 at Leigh Sports Village on Monday night.
Ro-Shaun Williams scored the only goal – his first at this level – in the seventh minute, heading home Josh Harrop’s deflected left-wing cross at the far post.
The Gunners enjoyed plenty of the ball but rarely tested Sam Johnstone in the Reds’ goal, while only a series of stops from his opposite number Hugo Keto prevented United from extending the lead.
