Manchester United legend Bryan Robson visited the Imperial War Museum North in 2016 to learn more about a family member who fought in World War One.
Following some extensive research that was conducted by staff at the Old Trafford Museum, it was discovered that Robson had several relatives involved in the First World War, including his great grandfather George Jackson who died at the Battle of the Somme on 16 September 1916.
"It's amazing to look back at this sort of thing," said Bryan, when told about George's story by museum curator Mark Wylie.
