Manchester United star Paul Pogba answered his critics with a fine performance as he scored and assisted a goal in France's 3-1 win over Russia.
The 25-year-old's form for the Red Devils has come under heavy scrutiny in recent weeks and there have been multiple rumours of an apparent rift with manager Jose Mourinho.
But he lifted his Old Trafford blues on Tuesday as he led France to victory with a superb free-kick in St Petersburg.
He also provided the assist for Kylian Mbappe, who struck twice past the Russians in a straightforward win - Russia have now gone seven games without victory in the build-up to their hosting of the summer's World Cup.
