Victor Lindelof spoke of his eagerness to get back on the pitch with United after Sunday's disappointing 3-1 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Jose Mourinho's men have to wait two weeks before the next game against Crystal Palace, as many of the squad head off with their respective countries for the final international break of the year.

When our Swedish defender spoke to MUTV after the game, he highlighted the unfortunate timing of the break and how he is desperate to right the wrongs of Sunday afternoon.

“Right now the break has come at the wrong time,” Lindelof said. “Because I feel like in the last couple of weeks we've really improved a lot, we've got some good results and we've been playing better, so we're sad of course for the loss.
