Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Jim Ratcliffe were seen deep in conversation with one another at Old Trafford prior to Sunday's Premier League clash against Tottenham.
The British Billionaire is in attendance for his first Manchester United match since his 25 per cent investment in the 13-time Premier League champions was confirmed.
Ratcliffe's INEOS team will take sporting control of the club's operations and wholesale changes once their investment is ratified by the Premier League.
