A panel consisting of LMA chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Chris Hughton, Rachel Yankey, Les Ferdinand, Clare Tomlinson, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry determined that the accolade would be awarded to Marc Skinner and co following the victory.
The weekly prize takes into account results from across the Premier League, EFL, WSL and the FA Women’s Championship.
Ella Toone’s first-half strike saw the Reds take a deserved lead into the break in front of more than 40,000 fans at the Emirates Stadium, but the home side responded and turned the game around to lead 2-1.
But Skinner’s side didn’t give up and, with just over five minutes of normal time remaining, Millie Turner headed in Katie Zelem’s free-kick to level the scores once more.
