United legends to play in Australia

Manchester United Legends are dusting off their boots once again as they head Down Under for an all-star charity match at the nib Stadium in Perth.

On 25 March 2017, former United players, including Paul Scholes, Dwight Yorke, Denis Irwin and Teddy Sheringham, will take on the PFA Aussie Legends in a historic clash that will raise money for Manchester United Foundation and the DT38 Foundation.

It’s the first time the Manchester United Legends have visited Western Australia and the team will be managed by former United and England captain, Bryan Robson. It’s also the first time Professional Footballers Australia has assembled a legends team, which will be coached by former Socceroos coach Frank Farina OAM.
