Manchester United legend Bryan Robson turns 60 today (Wednesday).
One of the game's most iconic captains arrived for a British record transfer fee of £1.5million from West Brom in 1981 and soon looked a bargain buy for Ron Atkinson, his former boss at The Hawthorns.
The driving force of the side and a born leader, he lifted the FA Cup three times as skipper and was outstanding in the 1991 European Cup Winners' Cup triumph over Barcelona. Two Premier League titles followed under Alex Ferguson and he also won the League Cup and European Super Cup.
