United draw 2-2 with Tigres in opener

Manchester United opened the Dallas Cup with a 2-2 draw with Tigres, thanks to a fine comeback.

Brandon Williams's own goal, when he was unable to clear a goalbound shot, left the Mexicans in command in front of a record 20,644 crowd at the Cotton Bowl.

However, Mason Greenwood gave the Reds hope, after good work by Tahith Chong and Joshua Bohui, before James Garner belted home from outside the box with three minutes left.

Kieran McKenna is in charge of what is largely an Under-18s party with Reserves duo Jake Kenyon and Joshua Bohui the only older additions to bolster the 22-man group.
