James Huntley's 89th-minute winner for Newcastle rendered the Reds' fightback fruitless.

Josh Scott's first-half opener for the Magpies and Kyle Crossley's effort just after the hour mark had given the Reds a two-goal deficit to overcome.

Zidane Iqbal came off the bench to pull one back in the 75th minute and Dillon Hoogewerf headed home Charlie McNeill's cross at the far post six minutes later.
