Harry Kane is on the brink of becoming the first player to pass 40 goals in an English season since Cristiano Ronaldo's stunning 2007-08 campaign.
The Tottenham forward needs just five more to reach the goals landmark, and will be the first to do so in 10 years.
Ronaldo, now starring in Spain with Real Madrid, notched 42 goals in 49 matches in all competitions in what proved to be his penultimate term at Manchester United.

And Kane's impressive tally of 35 strikes in 36 for the north Londoners means he could possibly reach the 40-goal mark by the end of this month.
