PSV boss Ruud van Nistelrooy has dropped a huge hint on the future of his star man Cody Gakpo.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away from his boyhood club and, upon impressing at the World Cup, talk of a transfer has intensified.

And speaking to the media in Holland, Van Nistelrooy admitted it will be hard to keep the young forward with the winter transfer window looming.

When asked about a potential move for Gakpo in January, Van Nistelrooy did little to persuade PSV fans that their talented youngster will be staying at the club.
