The treble is on! Gary Neville says Man City are 'far too close for comfort' to matching United's peerless record... as the pundit insists he is sticking with his prediction that Pep Guardiola's men will pip Arsenal to the Premier League title

Manchester United legend Gary Neville is set to attract the ire of his club's fans after admitting that a possible treble for crosstown rivals City is 'definitely on'.

Neville, who was part of the landmark United team that won the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup under Sir Alex Ferguson in the 1998/99 season, confirmed that he thinks Pep Guardiola's side are 'far too close for comfort' to matching the Red Devils' record-breaking season.

Speaking on the Gary Neville Podcast on Sky Sports, the pundit admitted that he had long-tipped City for Premier League glory but now saw the Cityzens as competitive on all fronts.
