Win any four of their final nine games and the title will belong to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. Not a problem for a team who have already won 25 of 29 games this season, surely.
They could also seal the deal in the most satisfying way possible – by beating Manchester United. If both sides win all their games between now and their clash on April 7, a derby victory at the Etihad Stadium will win the title and rub their rivals’ noses in it at the same time.
Rather than where the Premier League trophy will be heading in May, it is more a matter of how many records City will break before taking it home.
