Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has doubled down on his belief that summer signing Joshua Zirkzee can become a prolific goalscorer for the club.
The Netherlands international striker scored the match-winning goal on his debut against Fulham last month and, while he’s not found the net in red since, our new no.11 has remained a threat in attacking areas and been able to show his abilities as an all-round centre-forward.
Zirkzee’s capacity to bring team-mates into play has been a notable trait of his early displays for Ten Hag’s side, and while the boss has acknowledged that as a benefit, he believes that more goals are coming for our new man if he keeps working hard.
