Luke Shaw is working hard to be fit for Sunday's meeting with Luton Town, says Erik ten Hag.
United have won all four games since Shaw returned from a month-long injury absence last month, but the England international did not emerge for the second half of our victory over Aston Villa at the weekend, with Victor Lindelof playing on the left-hand side of the back four instead.
Ten Hag later said that decision was precautionary, based on the injuries Luke has suffered this season.
The Reds earned a priceless three points at Villa Park by virtue of Scott McTominay’s late header and, although he must be seen as a doubt at this stage, Erik is hopeful that Shaw can return at Kenilworth Road to help us extend our recent good form in the Premier League.
