The Frenchman scored twice in the recent 9-0 victory over Southampton but was unable to add to his four-goal tally in the Premier League this season when being frustrated at West Brom.
Martial was moved to the left, with Edinson Cavani going through the middle, but made way for Mason Greenwood in the 66th minute.
“The kid's got class,” stressed the boss. “So when he works hard, we know it's going to come out with the good performances in the end.”
Martial, who hit 23 goals last term, will be looking to help the Reds impress against Real Sociedad in Thursday's Europa League tie in Turin as Ole's men strive to regain top form.
