Sir Bobby Charlton's funeral procession will pass Old Trafford on its way to Manchester Cathedral for a service celebrating his life later this month.

Manchester United say it will ‘provide an opportunity for fans to say a final farewell to a true United legend’ following his death at the age of 86.

The service will take place at the cathedral on Monday, November 13, at 2pm followed by a private family funeral.

More than 80,000 people have signed the books of condolence for Charlton, and United say the memorabilia laid beside the Trinity Statue at Old Trafford will go into the club museum.
