The Sir Bobby Charlton Foundation tweeted a photo of the 83-year-old receiving the jab yesterday (Monday).

At the time of writing, their social media post has been liked over 12,000 times, as well-wishers from all over the globe reacted with joy at seeing Sir Bobby looking so well.

Last year it was confirmed that the World Cup winner had been diagnosed with dementia, when his wife Norma released the news in the hope it would help raise awareness of the disease.
