Sir Alex Ferguson WON'T be consulted over who the next Manchester United boss should be, claims ex-Red Devils defender Mikael Silvestre, who insists the legendary manager's power at his former side is now 'minimal'

Former Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre insists Sir Alex Ferguson won't have a say in who should replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager.

The legendary manager was heavily involved in the decision for David Moyes to replace him after his retirement in 2013.

There has been some suggestion that Ferguson, eight years later, still has some influence over key decisions such as who should be manager.
