Sir Dave Brailsford could be beginning a brutal reign at Man United following some words of advice from Sir Alex Ferguson.
The 59-year-old will form a crucial part of INEOS' sporting department takeover at Old Trafford as Sir Jim Ratcliffe's right-hand man.
The Red Devils confirmed Ratcliffe's 25 per cent stake on Christmas Eve as the club looks for a radical transformation, with the Ineos owner meeting Erik ten Hag and the players today.
Brailsford, who helped lead British cycling to multiple gold medals in the Olympics under Ineos, will take a seat on the board alongside Jean Claude Blanc.
