Sir Alex Ferguson shared a warm embrace with Erik ten Hag after Manchester United beat Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final.
The legendary United manager was in attendance for the final as Ten Hag led United to their first trophy after a six-year wait.
Manchester United were in control of the final for a large proportion of the match and took lead through a Casemiro header.
An own-goal courtesy of Sven Botman doubled United's advantage and put them in complete control as they saw the game out.
Following the win, Ferguson waited for the United manager in the tunnel and was able to congratulate him on the achievement.
