Football fans have ridiculed Birmingham City's decision to sack John Eustace and replace him with Man United and England legend Wayne Rooney.
Eustace was controversially dismissed on Monday by Birmingham - who are co-owned by NFL great Tom Brady - with the club sixth in the Championship heading into the international break.
After much speculation, they confirmed the appointment of Rooney on Wednesday, just days after he left DC United after failing to get them into the MLS Cup playoffs.
Rooney's appointment has sparked fierce questioning over whether Birmingham have made the right decision, after the club had appeared to make progress during Eustace's one-year reign.
